The legislative page program is a great opportunity for students to learn about the legislative process and gain valuable experience helping with the operation of the legislature. Last session, I had the honor of sponsoring Mia Carlton from La Conner High School.
If you know a student who wants to learn about state government, please have them apply to be a page. The program is accepting applications and there is even a scholarship program to help with financial aid if needed. An applicant needs be at least 14 years of age and have not reached their 17th birthday.
