Dear neighbors,
The 2022 Legislative Session starts on Monday, January 10. As chairs of the committees on State Government and Tribal Affairs (Rep. Valdez) and Local Government (Rep Pollet), we are hard at work on numerous bills and proposals that will affect all of us in the 46th District and statewide.
Our top priorities include working to protect everyone’s health as the pandemic continues, including providing for our state and local governments to be able to the many needs of Washington’s residents.
Hearing directly from you is incredibly important to us. Your ideas, questions, and stories guide our work in the House of Representatives.
We hope you can join us and Sen. David Frockt for live virtual town hall starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4. We’ll discuss our plans for the session, listen to your comments and look forward to answering your questions.
There are a number of ways to participate. You can watch the event live on Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter and find full details about the event here.
You can ask questions live during the event by commenting on Facebook or YouTube–or submit a question beforehand by visiting surveymonkey.com/r/46thTownHall.
We hope to see you there!
