The 2024 legislative session started on January 8th and I am back working on issues like removing the cap on special education funding and creating a “Washington Promise” for tuition-free community college. In my latest video, I talk about both of these priorities and the work I am doing to get these bills to the governor’s desk.
I would also like to invite you to my drop in town hall on Saturday, January 27th from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Every year I host my “traveling town halls” most Saturdays during session. Since the onset of the pandemic, these have moved to the virtual space. I really hope you can join me for drop-in discussion on whatever issues are on your mind because I believe your voice matters, and I look forward to discussing important issues with you.
