Between the 2023 and 2025 legislative sessions, the legislature took a big swing to try to provide renters with some protection from the rapidly escalating rents that so many are facing, to expand housing supply, and support affordable housing development.
I am starting an email list that will discuss efforts to protect tenants and will provide opportunities for people who have been hurt by skyrocketing rents to share their stories and impact legislation. I heard from you that these polices matter to you, and I’d love to have your help in this movement as we prepare to come back fighting for tenants again next year.
