Ortiz Self on Cutoff Week

February 19, 2021

Rep. Lillian Ortiz-Self, D-Mukilteo, talks about the cutoff process and explains that because the Legislature is on a 2-year cycle, all the bills that did not pass this year will be automatically reintroduced next session. She shares that five of her bills made it to the Rules committee, which is just one step from the Floor, and that her sixth bill will be turned into a budget proviso.
